Indeed it was!  Cheesy

I was torn between Vettel and Alonso, both have the quickest cars at the moment. I just think Alonso's hunger is back and his experience will pay off. That and he is n the FIA's vehicle of choice!  Cheesy

It's going to be a good year.  Probably the most open field I've ever seen.

Vettel - it'll be a tough year, but I think he'll show the best.

Interesting that so far no one expects the reigning champion to hold onto his title...

What did Button do last year, win 5 of 6 first races and
just wrap the title up in Brazil. With this new points
system would the season have been as close?

There is the 'Other' option there if you want to waste I mean, use your vote in a different way!  Cheesy

Where are all the Schumacher fans then?!

As for Jenson, well McLaren are a little behind Ferrari and RB already so are playing catch up. Add to that he is playing catch up with Lewis, he's not got much chance to be honest.

I think its assumption that Vettel ande Alonso have the fastest cars that will only be told on Saturday in qualifying and the race on Sunday I hope its going to be one of the most open seasons for a long time.
I would like Lewis, is it ok to say just Lewis?, to come out on top at the end of the season but I would not put money on it or anyone else.

Just a bit of snark, SH.  Wink

I just wanted an excuse for picking Vettel over Trulli.

How about he's in a better car and can drive around the circuit without creating a conga??!  Cheesy

Very true, everything is assumption and if there is an advantage then I would be surprised if the other teams don't catch up very quickly. And when they do, we have a new points system that is supposed to encourage racing right up until the last lap. Typically just in time for the top 4 teams to have at least one driver in their cars who do not give up!

Well I'm sticking with Jens, the season is long and I'm sure most of us will be regretting our choices by mid point. I also think Schumi and Ferd will be close behind without getting the cigar.

If the new scoring had been in place last year Button would have won by a bigger margin, he won the most races, it's now a very big points gap between First and 2nd. So more wins and a good steady finishing record pays off.   Tongue
