I have just read that Sir Stirling Moss is in hospital after falling down some stairs after a fault with a lift.
I am sure everyone one will join me in wishing Stirling a full and speedy recovery. Good

Yes I too read the Autosport Link. What an awful to happen to such a gentleman.

We Motor sport enthusiasts in Malta wish Sir Moss a speedy recovery.

Ditto Wiz, I wish I had been into F1 in those days as well as bike racing.

The other report said he actually fell down an elevator shaft in his house.  His wife said the lift was supposed to be there, but it wasn't at the floor and he fell.

Either way, he's extremely lucky, and I'm sure his fitness until now is what allowed him to survive such a trauma.

Hope he makes a complete recovery, although at that age it is unlikely that bad ankle injuries will completely heal.

All the best to Sir Sterling. These days they have new methods of healing bones, and with his general good health, I would expect him to fully recover.  Good Good

Hope Stirling has a swift and full recovery. He's already complaining about the hospital food, which is a good sign...

All the wishes to one of the greatest of all in F1, with the same pace he used to show while in the tracks...

Not since the one with the hospital food complaint, to the best of my knowledge. My guess is the next update will be when Stirling goes home, which may be a few weeks away depending on healing time.
